Caleb recently joined the Clan Logan Society and has accepted the challenge of becoming its Heritage Officer. Caleb is a first-generation American citizen after his father emigrated from Scotland to the USA at a young age. To understand and celebrate his Scottish heritage, Caleb grew up learning everything he could about all things Scottish. His aunt and grandmother continue to operate the family’s British shop, Scottish Treasures, and Caleb has traveled to countless Highland Games to help in the shop’s sales booth. He has visited Scotland several times, and his favorite places in Scotland include Edinburgh (mashed potato lovers should visit Makar’s Gourmet Mash Bar!) and Linlithgow Palace.

 

Caleb loves to fight for the underdogs, a fight which especially resonates with him given Scotland’s history with its larger neighbor. This led him to become an attorney despite first earning his M.S. in Applied Physics (Electrical Engineering). He currently works at a nonprofit serving older adults facing nursing home neglect or elder financial abuse. The more complicated the case, the better, for Caleb loves getting deep into details as he did in his engineering days.
